Director: Lila Marooney

Produced by Griffin Minster and the Jewish Theatre Ensemble at Northwestern University

Peter and the Starcatcher tracks an imagined origin story for the beloved character of Peter Pan through friendship with British-Aristocrat-To-Be Molly Aster across a series of outlandish adventures across sea and land. Bombastic and cantankerous in nature, this play utilizes an ensemble of physical storytellers to craft highly detailed and often ridiculous worlds throughout the play, melting through characters and backdrops with all the comedic grace of an oil slick. Moving a mile a millisecond, Peter and the Starcatcher asks: Is it truly possible to grow alongside another person? What do you take from those people once everything inevitably ends? This play was produced by a creative team made up entirely of undergraduate students.
