Chainsaw Tits follows Kinley, a girl whose mother surgically attached chainsaws to her chest at the first sign of puberty to protect her from sexual violence. Upon escaping her mother’s “Impenetrable Fortress”, Kinley is thrust into the real world without anything resembling practice. At lightning speed, she trips into starring as the main attraction in the financially ruinous “Harriet’s Horror House”. Through Kinley’s developing relationships with her own body and the employees of the horror house, Chainsaw Tits shuttles between raucous comedy, tender coming-of-age narrative, and cautionary tale at the drop of a hat. This absurdist world premiere was workshopped and staged with a creative team made up entirely of undergraduate students.
