Late, a Cowboy Song follows the gradual shattering of Mary’s idyllic life and marriage, spurred on by running into an old high school acquaintance who has since become a cowboy. A thoughtful investigation into the often accidental processes with which we design and practice time, relationships, and our own identity, Late, a Cowboy Song lightly knocks at the door of revelation with world-bending whimsy before tearing the full thing off its hinges.
